1. Bhagat Singh
Bhagat Singh (born: 28 September 1907, Veergati: 23 March 1931) was a great freedom fighter and revolutionary of India. Together with Chandrashekhar Azad and other members of the party, he fought the powerful British government with unprecedented courage for the independence of India.
2. Swami Vivekananda
If you ask to answer in one word,it is no. He did not speak anything against British directly and did not go to prison.
But he inspired many freedom fighters.
Gandhi said after reading Vivekananda 'my love for India increased thousand fold'.
Subhas Chandra Bose considered him as spiritual Guru.
Bal Gangadhar Tilak too was inspired by him.
Rabindranath Tagore suggested' If you want to know India study Vivekananda'.
Bipin Chandra pal used to quote him.
JRD Tata influenced by him opened Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore.
Jawaharlal Nehru praised him.
Rajagopalachari,Vinoba Bhave,S. Radhakrishnan and many more people of that generation became patriots because of influence of his works
Swamy Vivekananda was a Guide,who showed the right path at a right time. He can not be equated with a pension drawing freedom fighter.
